Biodiversity<\/strong> isn\u2019t just a trending hashtag – it\u2019s the living fabric that sustains our very existence. And when we talk about bees, we\u2019re talking about the tireless engineers of our ecosystem: responsible for over 70% of the pollination<\/strong> of the crops we eat every day.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why at Iglom<\/a> we decided to turn our commitment to sustainability into a concrete, measurable action: we have purchased 10 handcrafted wooden beehives, made by local artisans, personalized with the Iglom logo, and already populated by native swarms.<\/p>\n

From ESG theory to practice<\/h3>\n

This project is part of the journey outlined in our first Sustainability Report<\/a>, drawn up in compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive<\/strong> (CSRD<\/strong>) and the GRI\/ESRS standards<\/strong>. \u201cSustainability means Future<\/a>\u201d is not just the title of a page on our website – it\u2019s the compass guiding us towards the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A haven for pollinators, a lab for people<\/h3>\n

The beehives have been placed in an unspoiled area of Lunigiana<\/strong>, a region naturally rich in wild blooms. But the true added value of this initiative is the active involvement of our employees<\/strong>: colleagues will be able to take part in beekeeping on a voluntary basis, learning traditional techniques and contributing personally to the health of the swarms.<\/p>\n

This is how a real \u201cbiodiversity island<\/strong>\u201d is born – where corporate welfare<\/strong> meets environmental stewardship.<\/strong><\/p>\n
